I was eyeballing this one: Linksys Wireless N Router (E1200-CA) : Wireless Routers - Best Buy Canada

or maybe

Netgear Wireless N Dual Band Router (N600) : Wireless Routers - Best Buy Canada

Seems a lot of bad reviews for Dlink products, and based on my experience with them -- there's always a better product (quality AND features) for the same money, or slightly more. No matter WHAT pricepoint you look at.

Thoughts on these 2? (And I'll keep in mind the NetGear WNDR3700-100PAS as well)

Linksys stuff is made by Cisco now. I bought a new Linksys when we bought the house and so far it has been great. The range could be better, but I also have it mounted behind the tv so there is plenty of interference.

I would go with the Linksys. I'm a previous Linksys owner and decided to give Netgear a shot a few months back with the WNDR3800 model and its nice, has a real friendly Android app and desktop app to work with it but I find myself having to reboot the router every couple days to clear it out and stop strange Wi-Fi issues.

Plus its on firmware update like 20+ which says 2 things... one great support and two why so many updates?

Dogs and dish soap?

I have a Belkin and it works just fine, but I would kill to get my hands on a netgear router like mg mom has, the thing is an absolute tank.
