Default Highest resolution 4 inch display?

Does anyone make a 4" display with a resolution higher than 960x540?

But I haven't heard of any devices actually using it.

I'm an NVIDIA Tegra Champ. Here's what that means. It means that from time to time I might receive products and/or services from NVIDIA to evaluate them and provide feedback to NVIDIA and you, our valuable members. What this does NOT mean is that my opinion will be biased. Wow. A year old and no one uses it?

Cost was probably too high at the time. :/

Could also be that current SoC's just can't push the pixels and textures needed to ensure a smooth performing UI.

The top end SoC's should be able to, but we also haven't seen how anything does with a resolution higher than 1280x800 yet. When the Transformer Prime Infinity launches we'll get a good idea of how they do.

I am hoping that Moto does their DROID Fighter with a huge HD screen, and then does an "alternative" high end device using the Intel chip with a high-ppi 4" screen. And bring it to Sprint please.

Phones do it all the time. This isn't some insane resolution.

I don't know why you would need to know how >1280*720 works. 4" 1280x720 has a 367ppi, so I'm assuming that's the display res. Nothing insane on a new phone.

I would rather they make the jump to 1440*900 on a 5" phone. 1080p is ridiculous. The very very few people that will notice is far outweighed by the slower UI, increased battery drain, etc.

Considering that the conversation is about higher than 720p resolution how something performs at 1920x1200 is relevant.
