Highest resolution 4 inch display?
Does anyone make a 4" display with a resolution higher than 960x540?

Re: Highest resolution 4 inch display?
Could also be that current SoC's just can't push the pixels and textures needed to ensure a smooth performing UI.

Re: Highest resolution 4 inch display?
Phones do it all the time. This isn't some insane resolution.
I don't know why you would need to know how >1280*720 works. 4" 1280x720 has a 367ppi, so I'm assuming that's the display res. Nothing insane on a new phone.
I would rather they make the jump to 1440*900 on a 5" phone. 1080p is ridiculous. The very very few people that will notice is far outweighed by the slower UI, increased battery drain, etc. - 06-14-2012, 02:39 PM #11Forum Rules & Guidelines -- CLICK HERE
