I don't know if you guys have heard the new wireless standard but its called 802.11ac or just wireless ac. It has the compatibility to transfer data up to 1GBpS. So far there ware really only one wireless router out there that offers ac wireless. Every few days I see an article about networking companies making their own ac wireless router. In a year or so I'm sure that 802.11ac will take over. Right now there are no devices that can use it yet but its brand spank'n new.
Will Android see 802.11ac?

Definitely, but we don't know when. Maybe with the next round of chipsets. It took quite a while to get dual-band wireless N on phones.Forum Rules & Guidelines -- CLICK HERE
