If the Photon Q's radio is anywhere near as good as the original Photon 4G (no reason to believe it isn't) then that's definitely a winner.

Cant go wrong with a moto phone if youre looking for reception.
Samsung hasnt had a great track record with putting decent radios in their phones, But I have to say.. I am the proud owner of a Galaxy S3 and You can see that they are taking a giant leap in the right direction! The radios they put in their new phones are a heck of alot better than they were even a year ago

My sgs2 sucks for reception. Even general connectivity for GPS is slow, but I still love it. As Kevin stated Motorola owns in the radio dept. They always have great reception from what I've read. A RAZR HD is calling.
