Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
I wonder what percentage is 3g? When I was on 3g, I barely broke 1.5. On 4g, I get 2.5 to 3.5 monthly. My usage did not change and I use wifi when I am home. So that number could be a lot higher.

Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
I usually hover around 1gig (my plan is for 2) But then again when I'm at home I'm on wifi, and when at work, I can only use my phone at break times (quick check of social networks, emails, and maybe the AC forums). If I didn't have wifi I'd hate to see what I'd have to pay in overage fees

Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
I get close to 7, but that was with 3G and a iPhone. Now that I have LTE, "AND" a android device that has a great battery, I suspect I will double that...

I regularly use 4 or more gigs per month. Even my wife with her Iphone 4s uses that much or more. I'm sure most people who have regular access to Internet use less. We live in rural Idaho and the Internet access here is awful. We use our phones A LOT even tethered for our internet otherwise we don't have it. So once again probably not your average users.

Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
I use about 1.8 to 2.5 depending on the month. I'm on my phone constantly to boot. I stream NPR Morning Edition and NPR All Things Considered most days with some music in there for good measure. My wifi router got broke, and I've been to lazy/broke/apathetic to replace it for months. I get unlimited data with only 2GB 4G.

What would be interesting to see is how many people use so little data due to being scared of the consequences like bills going into the thousands if they exceed their limit.
Personally I usually use somewhere between 5 and 8GB a month.

I usually use about 3-4 per month as my phone is my ipod/phone/computer all in one. Watch a bit of youtube download and listen to music (no streaming) and basic stuff some games, forums. Its been pretty steady at 3-4gb per month for about 3 months with verizon and 3 months with straighttalk

Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
I have already used 1.6 GB and I'm 8 days into my cycle. That's pretty low. I live on the road. I use 6-8 GB a month. I've been home the last 3 days though.

Re: Users only using an average of 2gb a month
How is it possible to use under 2 GB? My usage reset on the 21st and I am already over 3 GB! I must say I would never use this much on the old Verizon 3G but now that I have 4G LTE all over my city, and I have an unlimited data plan, why not gobble up every MB possible? Not to mention since I've found FoxFi, I practically run my entire tech class because all my friends would rather use my 4G connection than the school's slow as hell internet that has every good website blocked! Not to mention my Xbox 360 loves 4G LTE!

You asked how people can stay under 2GB. I gave you an answer.
I have Verizon FiOS at home, so my speeds on WiFi are just as fast as 4G LTE.
Doesn't matter though. If people wanted to stay under 2GB, they can. Some people don't even know how little they use.
And everyone on here sounds so surprised.
