Question Looking for a budget phone.

I'm trying to find a cheap phone that's fairly recent and runs on a prepaid carrier. I've been looking at the HTC One V.

That would be an excellent choice. The HTC One has since been revamped and updated to a newer version so the original models are going for very cheap and are still considered to be one of the best phones out there.

If you can find a pre paid carrier supporting the phone and for a good price then your problems are solved

So what's the budget and what prepaid carrier? I would assume you can switch if you need to. I'm not sure what the One V is going for right now (or what carriers have it), but the Nexus 4 is the best prepaid phone you can buy. Next to that would be a used Galaxy Nexus.

If you have to stick with a CDMA then the One V is a great choice, but Boost and Virgin also have their version of the Evo phones.

I can't remember for sure, but did any of the prepaids announce plans to carry a version of the One VX? If so that would also be a good choice, but my recommendation of the Nexii above still stands.

I'm either going with virgin or T-mo . My budget is $150-ish, One v is $50 on amazon, my next choice is the T-mo Lumia 710.
