I'm looking for a tablet with a long battery life, price is not a big deal but I don't want to spend to much since I just want to read books from it and do other cool stuff (not really into gaming on it).

A ideal tablet has a mic, storage space for the stuff I will be recording. It needs to have a long battery life. Cheap is nice but not a big deal if it has a long battery life. I bought a cheap one and it seems to die so fast.

The Acer A500 is dated but has an extremely large battery and long battery life. I have owned numerous tablets, and that one has yet to be beaten. It is old so you can find it cheap too, and it has a full sized USB port to supplement the microsd slot, which is great for loading media. There are also jellybean roms out for it to improve performance. I use the Ainol Hero right now and am quite impressed given it cost me $170 all in.
