Ive had both and its not hard to be biased in some way. I prefer the note 2 to my old iphone 4s but I do like apple products. If I were to go back to apple I'd jailbreak the phone like my ipad as it give the coldest experience to android along with the simplicity of apple

I just wanted to throw my two cents in and say that I dont get paid by either side to be more favorable towards the other.

I seriously am disgusted by the bias by so many members on here, for example they think its funny if apple hires ex google maps employees.WTF!?!? How is that funny it's just business. Next all of them sayer iPhone is ,have they actually used an Apple product before? Then they go on saying how you can't add more storage to the iPad or change anything about it WTF it's a tablet not a bloody desktop.

    [Moderator edit.]

    /end rant.
I've owned both and while iphone had some pluses, the limited nature of it and lack of new features while android kept bringing it

I have used both pretty extensively. Particularly a mac and final cut pro for 2 years for video editing and lots of family and friends with ios devices.

That being said, I just flat don't like the products.

    1. I feel that apple fights it's consumers. It's like when I purchased a product of theirs that I am only purchasing the rights to use it they way they want me too. Just like the music from Satan's music player (itunes). With android and a large extent windows, I can do whatever they heck I want with the software and hardware as long as I have the capability. And Google and the manufacturers let me do it.

    2. I'm not going to beat the limited software dead horse. You all know it by now.

    3. I don't like the fact that they add visual transitions just for the sake of being pretty and flashy. They take it a couple of steps beyond visually pleasing. At this point it's like the ui design department wants the phone to have a visual seizure every time I swipe across the screen.

    4. Support for things I use all the time like usb flash drives are not supported. Being in college, it is incredibly convenient to just pop a flash drive in my tablet and copy or share files without needing a computer. And then I can email them(no matter what the file type *gasp*) or put them on Dropbox with no questions asked.

    5. App associations are limited in ios along with some level of unavoidable dependence on stock apps regurardless of whether I want to use them or not.

Long story short. I will happily give apple my money when I feel they deserve it, but not until. Android will not last forever and I will gladly just to whatever fills my needs and wants when the time comes.

So if they do it, Android people get a pass to do it too? Meh.

    What they say is irrelevant.
    AppleInsider is worse, IMO.

I'm neutral except when it comes to either of the Galaxy Note phones since they're the only devices that meets all my needs.
