Will Galaxy Note 3 or a superior competing phone be out by late this yr?

So I bought my gf the Note 2 for her birthday and i am so jealous of the phone. My upgrade is not up until October so I'm hoping there is a new and improved version of the Note 2 or perhaps a competitors puts out a similar phone to compete?

There are rumors that the S4 will be released later this year. That's all I know.

The S4 should be out in June or July and the note 3 in October or so.

The S4 is supposed to be announced in the next few weeks, so they are on schedule.
