Best app to read books?
Hey guys, just bought a tablet a couple of days ago, its my first android device and I'm liking it so far.
One reason I bought it was for reading, but after doing some research I'm not sure where I should buy them from. What would you guys recommend? Going by pricing alone, it seems like the Kindle app has some of the books I want a little cheaper than on google books, so that is a plus.
Thanks. - 03-14-2013, 01:13 AM #2
Re: Best app to read books?
If you're looking for a reader AND an eBook store, I would go with Kindle. I do like Google Books but I like the versatility of Kindle apps being available for just about any phone/tablet/PC operating system.
If you already have a few ebooks in file formats, I would recommend Moon Reader on the Play Store. You can sync your reading position in books through a Drop box account; this feature doesn't seem to be in many of the standalone eBook readers.
