That is a good point, though. It would be good for the app to not display most pictures if the phone is on a slow network.

Which is sad considering many people either don't have immediate access to wifi or a PC.

I actually think 4.0 looks really good, even the action bar. Loving the Google Now-style card design. The only thing I'm not too happy about is the change in the actual app info screen, the only place where they took out the card design and replaced it with a plain design.

take a deep breath... relax. OK, so the UI changed around a little... but its not too bad. Every time someone goes through a UI change, there is the eneviatble "OMYGERDTHISUIBLOWS" backlash.... it comes out, after a while, everyone gets used to it. Then down the road it changes again... lather, rinse, repeat.

From the looks of those shots, it is just making the mobile Play app's look and feel consistant with Google's current interfact approach. So what if its different? It'll be easy to get used to and as long as you can find and get to the stuff you need, it's all good.
