Is there any other one other than the Samsung version? I'm looking for something with expandable memory and only an mp3 player also not a tablet size.

You could always just find a cheap used Android phone on eBay and use it only as an MP3 player without activating it as a phone. You could still use it on a Wifi network to download apps or access Google Music.

I don't think there are any Android based MP3 players, except the Samsung Galaxy Player.
I agree with B.Diddy, just get a inactivated smartphone.

Here are the Galaxy Players:

Well I have a few inactive android based cell phones I was hoping to get a mp3 player that's android based hoping to get better battery life than most phones have. I haven't found anything other than the Samsung ones so I'm kinda stuck with that route if I want to go with it.

I guess there's a gap in the market for a 'Android MP3 Player.'
I saw some in a magazine, but looked cheaply made, and by a manufacturer that I've never heard of.

That's an awesome idea! I have never thought of using one of my old phones just as an mp3 player. Plus with the added bonus of having the wifi I could get some great use out of some of the paper weights. Thanks for the tip.

Archos, Creative, Cowon, Phillips, and Sony all have Android-based media players.
