I have the LG Nexus 4. from Google, it runs Android.

If i'm browsing the web, and want to select part of a URL and copy/paste it.

I know I can use shift+arrow keys.

But another way is by dragging 2 cursors.

How do I get those 2 cursors to drag? like, one beginning one and one ending one

like this.

Double-tap on the text you want to select, or press and hold your finger on it. Either one should bring it up.

I pressed and held my finger on the word and it brought up the two cursors. Not sure why yours isn't behaving the same. Hopefully someone can chime in with an idea.

ah I see it works when there's a space in the characters. not when there's not. So for a url I have to add a space
