Default Google I/O 2013 "Tablets, tablets, tablets"

Seems like a lot of emphasis on doing tablets right.

Too much fuss about nothing (IMHO), I'm not sure that tablets will replace laptops and pcs. No matter how convenient it is to use a tablet, it is not the best variant for works, especially if you have to work 8 hours a day on a computer.

Still - Google recognizes that there's stigma that apps for Android tablets don't look as nice as apps for iPads.

Tablets will definitely replace Netbooks for now.. May be in the future it would replace laptops when its powerful enough to handle all the load... with the CPU and the multi tasking OS

    Even though that's purely subjective.

Sure. Android "phone" apps function the same. That's really not what's being debated. Yes - it's looks. And if it wasn't an issue, Google wouldn't be pressing so hard on "tablet" guidelines.
