Switching to Verizon

Hey AC community,
My wife and I are switching to Verizon in the next week or so. We just moved to Raleigh, NC area. What should we look out for and what should we look forward to? We have a gs3 and gs4. Wife wants to switch to a different phone. Wish Verizon was using the HTC One.

Verizon has indicated that they are getting the HTC One, but that haven't announced the launch date. Some folks are thinking this summer. Currently, the closest service to the One on the Verizon is the Droid DNA. It is only running Sense 4+, not Sense 5, but it does have a 1080P SLCD3 display and internals similar to the Nexus 4.

Motorola is also likely to have something come out on Verizon the summer too.

Wish they would a little sooner so we can just get it now. Why get a "1st gen" of something when the next best one is coming so soon. Thanks.
