Google Play Store - Emailed Receipt

I just bought an app from the store, but the receipt has been emailed to my old (icloud) address for some reason (even though everywhere in my google account has my new email address - my gmail account).

where is this old email address being used and where can i change it to make sure that receipts go to my new email address ?

Perhaps you're signed into the playstore with your old account?

nope, i am signed in using the google account (which is the gmail address).
the only place where my icloud email address is used in the google account is for the "recovery address".

I see check your accounts in your settings and un-check sync with your old account if it was checked

1. "clear data" in your play store

2.when you start it back up choose your new account if you want to try
