Can only see about 500 apps at a time in Play Store, and then no more in a catagory
Hi! I have a Galaxy Notes 2, my husband has the S3.
We have noticed both in the Play Store on our phones, and when accessing the Google Play store from a desktop machine (not logged into anything), when we click on any particular category for apps, in the google play store, only 500 are shown on the phone and perhaps slightly over 500 are shown on the desktop. we can see no way to display more apps.
With all the hype that android has nearly 800,000+ apps, one would think that any given category would have more than 500 apps available. For example, the education category.
When we are looking for very specific functionality, and have tried the "top" or "editors" picks, and they are not quite what we want, we would like to be able to review all apps available for that function. Why would google be functioning with what seems like a hard filter. Yes, the popular apps are popular for a reason, however, that doesn't mean we should be limited from seeing everything available....even just exploring less popular apps seems like it would be fun.
Are we missing something? We don't think it is specific to our phones because this limitation seems to happen in the app store on a highspeed connection desktop machine in Chrome, whether logged in or not.
Thoughts? (And thank you!)
