Secret homescreen opens up depending on which password you put in for your phone.

So this is something that i read in the book "Homeland" and it has this part where a cell phone has technically 2 phones inside one, and depending on which password of the 2 that you have and you put into the phone to unlock it, it opens up one of the two phones or homescreens. Its hard to explain but its to keep things secret kinda. If anyone has any idea of what im taking about please reply, thanks.

That almost sounds like you are talking about root access.
