LG G2, (My) Super Phone of the Year! What's yours?
I really thought hTc One would take this honour but that all changed after a few days with the LG G2. *I own both* Aside from Google's nexus 4, this is my first LG since buying a POS flip back in the day.
>> The lack/think side Bezels really does make a difference, I can't get over how amazing the Display looks.
>> I love the KnockOn feature so much, it's so convenient that it also changed me view on Front/Home Screen button(s) that I prefer the On-Screen. Of course LG took advantage of it by allowing us to customized it. I hope this become the STANDARD on future androids.
>> Battery though non-removal is outstanding. On HEAVY usage I'm getting over 12 hours easily (just like Samsung's Galaxy Note 2).
>> The Power & Volume Buttons on the back is so much easier to deal with during a call and again LG took advantage by using the volume rockers as a short cut.
While I love the One's Aluminum Body/Design & BoomSound, the LG just made smarter moves with the features.
I had the 64GB iPhone 5S for a few days and tried Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for an hour today, both companies only made adjustments and not enough was improved in the Software & Hardware, no not Specs but Design. Honestly, I only like the new Back Cover and the Copy & Paste on the S-Pen and the iPhone I only like the Touch ID finger print scanner but I not worried about locking my phone and will take the KnockOn feature any day.
My only complaint on the G2...it's so anal that I'm afraid to post it...
I hate the Icons.
LOL Thank God for Nova Launcher Prime, HD Widgets and SImple Text.

Re: LG G2, (My) Super Phone of the Year! What's yours?
So far, for me, it is the HTC One GPE. The build quality, screen quality, and speakers are a perfect combo for me. The only knock against it is the screen is a bit smaller than I like. By the end of the year, I the the HTC Max or Nexus 5 will be my phone of the year, but I cannot call them without them officially existing. And, honestly, the iPhone 5s gets an honorable mention for attempting to make security easier. Is there attempt at revolutionizing mobile phone security perfect? Nope. But, it is at least an attempt, which is more than any other manufacturer so far this year.
