    Default Nova and Apex

I've noticed that Nova and Apex are basically the same launcher apart from a few minor differences. What are the major settings that set these two apart?

I don't think there really are any outside of the paid versions.

The free version of apex offers more than the free version of nova. That said both are great launchers so whatever one you decide to use you won't be disappointed. I use Apex on my Nexus 5 and Aviate on the Note 3.

Yep. That's why I preferred Apex to Nova. However, it eventually didn't matter because I ended up buying both.

I think it's mostly just personal preference. I liked Nova more because it feels closer to stock. There are no major differences IMO.
