Default Gmail 2.3 update - New header bar doesn't stick

I just installed the new Gmail 2.3 update released today (9/21).
While it all seems to work more or less, the new header bar doesn't stick to the top of the screen as it's apparently supposed to. Can't find a preference setting to control this.

Presently running HTC Incredible and stock HTC Sense 2.2.

    Anyone else see this behavior?

No issues here, but I'm not running Sense UI, so maybe somebody else is having issues (bump)

It's supposed to, but apparently isn't for tons of people.
The Gmail 2.2 app stuck to the top.

I Have an DX and the only thing I found is from this morning. No sticking but I noticed that the multi-select check boxes were as if they'd been taken off or the view expanded. I adjusted text font size etc.. nothing helped. I even uninstalled ADW.Launcher and Launcher PRO+. That didnt seem to help. Finally I had to uninstall GMail App from the phone, then reinstall it, and all works normal. The check boxes are back also. I also did three battery pulls (even though Android OS doesnt need to have this done) and that of course didnt help either. but, the uninstall and reinstall worked fine.
