Sure seems like it. HTC got rid of them and is now adding them back due to popular demand. (They support 128 gig SD cards too)

Do you think phones in the future will still have an option for micro SD cards?

Unless something better comes along (or unless internal storage gets really cheap) yeah. They are an industry standard right now. They are used in everything.

Samsung will likely keep them. Most other OEMs don't support them
Lots of OEMs support them. HTC, Sony, ZTE...pretty much every mid or low end phone that is not Google or Moto.

Lots of Windows Phones support them as well.

I was referring to the flagships, and specifically the US variants since I know the international versions of the G2 and the One support them
