New Nova Launcher has Android L visuals

God I love this launcher. They are just doing everything right,. This is what the native OS should look like.

The story has links to the "beta" app. I put "beta" in quotes because it feels like a finished product. They did a great job on this. Love the new app animations.

Luckily a Dev over at XDA made an Xperia Android L theme that gives the lollipop nav buttons and themes the settings menus and core apps UI no root required. Combined it with Nova yesterday and whipped up a lollipop theme on my Z1 The colored icons are folders, most of the rest like weather, voice search, events etc are all hotspots for their various functions

I liked Aviate beta but this let me do a better job of doing a setup more true to current android design standards than Yahoo is

One thing that I miss from Apex is the static portrait wallpaper. Other than that nova has been great

Read the artillery article and it'll tell you how to change the stuff to make it look like Android L. It doesn't do it automatically.

Got a Play store update on my other devices...apparently you don't need the beta APK anymore. The normal Play store version has these options now.

Yea there's not much different at the moment. I don't use the app drawer icon or the settings icon anyway
