The above article may be of interest to those who look past their 4.3 inch (or whatever) screens at the bigger mobile market. It is a post by the owner of a news website that graphs out how percentages of the hits on his site from different mobile OS have changed over the past year or so. The iPhone is doing well, though only going up slightly. Android is growing swiftly, and the surprise for me was how big the iPad became after a standing start last April (iPads visit his site more than Android phones do). Part of this may be that the viewers of his site are more heavily Fruity people than the internet as a whole is.

He does observe that the size of the mobile market is growing rapidly, only about 7% of the hits on his site are from mobile users, but that percentage is going up almost one percentage point every two months!
