Are you still able to receive SMS? How's the signal in your current area? Are you able to make phone calls or use the internet?

I'm still able to receive SMS. The signal in my area is 100% stable. I'm able to make phone calls and use the Internet.

Have you tried rebooting your phone since the problem started?

Hmm...what if you wipe the cache partition in recovery mode? On Samsung phones it's usually holding home + power + volume up. You can then use the volume buttons to navigate the recovery screen and the power button to select the options. This won't delete any user data, so you don't have to back anything up before hand.
