Phones 4U collapses into administration as EE is final operator to hang up - Telegraph

Vodafone pulled out this month now EE so phones4u has now gone in to administration so 5600 jobs will or could be lost
As part of networks big plans to get more profit
But customers don't want this
We don't want branded junk this will hurt the mobile industry
People need to take a stance against this
Manufacturers need to take a stance against this by networks
Let's hope offcom take action against this

We’re saddened by today’s news and the impact it will have on Phones 4u employees but we want to assure customers that we will try to minimise disruption to them. We also strongly reject suggestions that we behaved inappropriately at any stage during our negotiations with Phones 4u and today’s unfortunate news was the result of a transparent negotiation over many months.

We’re already seeing a number of questions from customers wanting to know how this news will affect them. We’ll answer as many of those as we possibly can when we have the information, including advice for customers who have pre-ordered iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus on Vodafone through Phones 4u.

In the meantime, if you’re an existing Phones 4u customer using the Vodafone network you do not need to contact us. Your service remains unaffected and we will contact you proactively should we need to advise you of any future changes.
