I've been using the S5 for a few months now after originally having the LG G3. I won't say that the S5 is a bad phone because it's not. But even after the update to Lollipop, I don't feel it's up to par.

The major difference I've noticed in lag time and overall speed. The S5 isn't nearly as quick as the LG G3 and the animations lag. For me, this is partially due to storage space. I have more memory on the LG.

Where the S5 wins: camera and waterproofing. (Not that they go together.) I found that the photos I took of people came out clearer and sharper than the LG. It was also quicker to ficus and take the picture. As for waterproofing, it just gives me a peace of mind. The S5 is sturdier so the worry of damaging it from drops is less.

All in all the S5 is still a good phone just not the best.

I appreciate comments or suggestions. Maybe I left some things out to consider or there's pointers to make it better.
