WhatsApp Data Sharing

At the end of the FAQ it says that even if you opt out, they're still sharing your data with Facebook. I've emailed them to ask how to ensure that none of my data is ever shared with anyone. So far no response.

Anyone know how? I've already uninstalled the app, but it's obviously too late - they have the data, so now I need to know how to prevent ANY sharing with anyone for any purpose.

They just need your data for advertising purposes and nothing. Your personal data will not share with them.

It was a good move that you uninstalled the app, my personal opinion, you are SOL with your previous data. Basically it seems that Facebook can do with it as they see fit, unless you sue them directly.

I guess we are the only few people who are concerned about this. Majority of my friends refused to comment about this and said that everything will ultimately be available online.

Some say that they are not criminals so it's OK and they have nothing to hide.

Perhaps instead of being concerned about our lives and privacy we just have to go with the flow and see how we take advantage of it.
