Pegasus Malware Android

After last weeks fireworks concerning Pegasus malware and IOS I am just curious why nothing has been written about this on Android. I believe it's a foregone conclusion that something like this also exists on Android but internet searches on the topic for Android don't come up with much.

Lookout, A Malware app for IOS as far as Android, says they can detect it on IOS but don't say anything about Android.

I'm just curious as to why no mention of Pegasus on Android. Not even from Google.

Anyone have any thoughts or information???

The difference is hat iOS is perceived to be one of safest and most secure OS's you can have, behind Blackberry, and it's locked down and limited, so it's big news when someone(s) can remotely access security flaws and get behind Apple's security and start granted their own access to the device. Android is known to be open and free to play around with, at your own risk, so it's not major news when someone(s) else does it the phone either.
