Anyone else receive an email early invite to try Google voice integration on sprint? I just got one!

Sent from my T7575 using Board Express

I did as well, though I can't find the change/port link the e-mail refers to. Sooo, I can't do it.

Same here. If I choose the change/port link, it wants to charge me $20 and says I will lose my plan.

Looks like they don't have things set up yet. I sent them some feedback on this.

Hmm... well I went with "option 2" and made my GV number my sprint number and that seemed to go through ok. I tested calling and text messages and they both showed my GV number. Also, now my cell number on the GV page says "google voice enabled."

Ok...it looks like it's working now. I was on the Google voice site when I got a pop up telling me I can try the Sprint Integration. I went through the instructions for option 1 and everything seems to be working.

What happens if you cal your old sprint number? Does the GV completely replace it?

One thing I found interesting with option 1. Now, all my text messages default to the Google Voice app instead of Handcent SMS. They aren't picked up by Handcent at all.

So, I'm trying to find a way for Handcent to still receive the SMS messages. No luck yet.

Go into the GV app, settings, and then sync and notifications, there is a check box there to allow that. Check notification via txt message.
