I got my CR-48 last Thursday, and it seems like more and more people are getting their CR-48's. There's so much to learn about the CR-48 since the OS is completely new I figured I'd make a thread where we can all share some tips and tricks that we find. First one was shared by Ellett which is a huge and important find.
Type: about:flags in a new tab and you'll see this:
There are two things there that you're going to want to immediately enable, the first two...
Media Player
Advanced File System
Enabling Media Player obviously Enables the media player...It's extremely basic but it works flawlessly. Enabling the Advanced File System allows the system to recognize the SD Card as well as a USB Mass storage, like your phone or any other USB flash memory. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to choose the SD card or USB storage when saving or downloading something. Maybe that has to be done VIA an update or maybe I'm just missing something. Both of these are very welcomed features that definitely give Chrome OS a more complete OS feel.
