My TV doesn't have HDIM port, how can I connect Chromecast?

Hi Phil, my CRT TV doesn't have HDMI port, only SVideo, Component and RCA ports. How can I connect those with Chromecast? Some posts it in youtube that can use with HDMI-RCA cable, Some said that to use with HDMI to Component adapter/Converter. Which one is true? the one with the cable or with adapter?

I have the same issue, but I have a Sony DVD/surround sound system attached to the tv which does have a Hdmi port

So can I use chromecast via the DVD player?

ViewHD Universal HDMI to Composite / S-Video Converter:Amazon:Electronics may work but keep in mind this may still not work if hdcp is required. I would expect it to be.

HDCP is required this won't work. The short answer is the Chromecast won't work with the OP's TV. Buying a new TV or a Receiver that can output to analog would in theory work. There seems to be some receivers that are hit and miss.
