Google Not Charging For Chromecast Backorders?

I ordered a Chromecast on the July 31st. It shipped on the 20th of August. They've yet to bill my account for it. Are they giving away back ordered Chromecasts like they did with the Nexus Q? Just seeing if this happened to anyone else or should I expect a charge sometime soon. A free Chromecast would be a great early birthday present!

I wouldn't get too excited yet. If Google didn't charge until they shipped, and it takes a day or two to post, today or tomorrow is when I would expect to see it hit the card.

But if you get to Monday and don't see anything...
