How can I play a video on a loop on Chromecast

We are trying to use Chromecast for a video display, but i can't figure out how to get a youtube video to replay all the time. Is this possible?

I know in the YouTube app on the phone if you create a playlist you can put it on repeat. I'm assuming if you just add 1 video, it will just loop that video.

I haven't tried it, but I don't see why that won't work

Thanks. Has anyone tried what happens if the phone disconnects from the Chromecast, does it stop playing. I need it for overnight looping

Once you start the video on the Chromecast, the Chromecast will stream directly from YouTube. You could test this by starting a video and rebooting the phone. You'll see that the video keeps playing on the tv
