I found EZCast APP (Free for both Android/iOS versions) can support Chromecast dongles.

This is the best all-around Chromecast app yet!

I download it from Google Play. Now I can use EZCast APP to cast local documents, multimedia from my devices, internet, cloud storages and social networks to the large display.

Just downloaded and gave it a spin. I have to say, it works really well. It seems a bit rough around the edges, not quite yet a refined product, but it does work. I like the ability to display websites on the chrome cast, and locally stored videos play well.
I'd like to see it improved in a few areas, but for now it's a solid start.

Edit-tried in on my G2. I'll give it a go on my iPad later.

It's there, however it doesn't work with chromecast. Maybe they have submitted a version that does.

First time I used it, it worked great. Second time out it wouldn't connect. Had to delete then reinstall to make it work. Haven't tried since, but I hope that's not the norm for it.
