'smoking' chromecast

Today I was watching Netflix on my chrome cast for about half an hour and then when I moved it to another room and I could see some smoke coming off of it and it was extremely hot to touch I had to use a a kitchen towel to hold it I'm not kidding or trying to get on the chormecast I'm just asking of anyone has encountered anything like this

Wow. That could be extremely dangerous. Maybe it was just a hardware fault?

Something like that it still works just fine and I love it but honestly it was pretty crazy when I unplugged it from the back of my TV I nearly dropped it

No im using a smaller Microusb cable
