If so, you can use the Ethernet Adapter: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...dapter_for_chromecast?hl=en-US&token=WiJu6dFY You will still need some sort of (wired) router.

I do it all the time from my Chromebook in the room I do not have a Chromecast or Roku.
