Maybe somebody can help me out. I am one minute away from importing a gsm galaxy but I read that if you do so you will have no warranty. The reasoning was that when you contact the regional Samsung office and they look up the serial number it will not show up. Now I understand that but will I be able to contact Samsung on a international level and be taken care of even if I have to ship my phone to Korea or whatever the case may be. If anyone has experienced this or has some valuable info please let me know. Because I feel uncomfortable paying 700 for a device with no warranty. Thanks

Negri gives you a year (verify with them to ease your own worries). Love this thing though! Wife can have the iPhone.

You'll have a year warranty from Samsung.....but, that is sending it off to them for repair. You can also buy a warranty from a third party vendor.
