New ATT N1 on the way

Well I just ordered my new N1 today for ATT. I hope to have it by Friday so I can play with it over the weekend.

A few apps that I'll want/need right away are:

A Password keeper, Current use 1Password on my iPhone
A measurement conversion program
A standard Solitaire game
An app to shut off 2G/3G data; APNDroid & ???


For a while I want to use the device as a phone and WiFi only. No carrier data since I don't have a plan and don't want to get one just yet. Any recommendations on these apps plus any others yall deem as must have to start let me know.

I do plan on rooting at some point but that will be some time in the future so I have time time to figure out the device itself.

I'll also need a case to put the phone in since I'm in field service. My iPhone is currently in a Otter Box defender case. Any suggestions on this front?

Wait, you have an iPhone? And presumably a dataplan?

Why in hell would you want to use the N1 as a phone+wifi only?

Put your iPhone sim in and use your full data plan. Use the iPhone on WIFI only. (My iPhone is now pretending to be an iPod Touch).

There is a setting to lock 3G off, but once you put a sim in you are going to get 2g data at a minimum.

Congrats. I actually don't have any of those apps that you mentioned above, but I'll definitely love to see the responses you get.
