Why won't my Froyo'd N1 go horizontal?
So landscape homescreens are supposed to work out of the box, right? What am I doing wrong?

I wasn't aware of landscape homescreens being a feature in Froyo for the N1. But I'm sure I could be wrong.
Current: LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S3, ASUS Nexus 7

On mine, I get right or left orientation while inside an app, but no 360 rotation or home screen landscape.
I've seen it talked about that hs rotation is working too...but not here.(•‿•) - 05-24-2010, 05:37 PM #5
It doesnt happen to be one of the settings that you have to select, does it :/

The homescreen was never supposed to rotate, not on froyo or ever.

Grab LauncherPro Beta from the market and you will get:
1. Choose a range between 2 and 7 Home Screens
2. Pinch screen to see mini cards of Home Screens
3. Ability to rotate left or right your Home Screens
4. Adds 4 app icons to lower dock (future release will allow customization)
Runs great on Nexus One with Froyo - 05-25-2010, 11:58 AM #9

lol. Thanks, guys. Yeah, I was reading it like the home screens were supposed to rotate now. Guess not. Can't wait for Cyanogen to get the source code.
