Trackball with froyo

So I've figured out how to change the colour of the trackball but I cant seem to figure out how to increase the flashing rate. I cant stand the extremely slow flashing. Anyone have answers???

So far I have only been able to change the color via an app that has this color option. I haven't found anything for this in the OS. I would like to change the color for SMS. How did you do it?

Thats what I meant. I figured out how to change it through an app (handcent). Its not in the os. But handcent has an option to increase the speed but it doesnt seem to work for me.

As far as I can tell it's stock w/ 2.2. Mine flashes around every two seconds with new alerts. I wonder what happens when there are two things alerting. Two colors or does it combine them.

Really? I had it set to flash every 2 seconds but it wouldn't work for me.

It works for me with chompsms & handcent. The screen has to be off though. It'll blink about every 2 seconds. Doesn't work with the stock msg app.
