And if you want one with more capacity but the same form factor, we *cough* have one in the AndroidCentral Store.

Well $25 is a bit too much for a standard battery replacement.

Seriously? Can you show me one other standard stock battery that's cheaper than that?

Notice on the bottom of the page it says "Coming Soon Verizon". So I guess it is official, just not the March 23rd date is not official yet.

It's said that since day one actually. That's a whole different thread though.

These look decent, and a few others, I guess most of them are a tad higher but I'm used to getting batteries for my other phones at like $10-$15 shipped, thats why.

    $18

    $15

Those are generic batteries. I would advise anyone to avoid those. The cells are just not the same as a name brand and will not last long. You get what you pay for.

I hope they offer a battery-only-charger for this, like Motorola does with the Droid. I love having a spare battery on me at all times.

I agree, would be nice to see. So far I have not spotted anything though.

I ended up getting the Mobi cradle since it has both the cradle charging as well as a charging slot for the spare Google battery I bought. I'll use this until Google comes out with their own version (I get scared of harming the battery with too much charge since Mobi doesnt list any specifications so you dont know if its killing your battery, hopefully its not but its really the only game in town).

I ordered a spare battery from Google since the N1 is my main computer which I use for almost everything and need the extra juice to get me through the day but it would suck if I had to charge the phone up to 100%... then switch the battery and charge it again up to 100%... (hence the Mobi stand)

I bought a 2nd battery with my N1. Both have now been fully cycle charged. The 2nd charge went from fully drained to fully charged in only 2.5 hours. They are currently lasting 14 hours each with average usage of phone/apps/video.

It would be nice if they offered a dock with a built in spare batter charger like Palm used to for the Treo 680 + phones.
