Any update on this? Is this just a random rumor, or actually from a somewhat credible source?

    Wow. That would be nuts.

Verizon has been in the talks from the get-go but never an official date or anything and then AT&T could just jump up and throw there's out there before VZW.

Day isn't over yet but I'm not expecting much. It would be a really nice surprise if this was true.

Go to Google.com/phone boys and girls. Its already on he shelves (virtual shelves anyway).

    Better yet, just click .

Doesn't look like there is a subsidized one for att/rogers, but Im willing to be a lot of you are gonna get it anyway.

I never would have guessed that it would have hit AT&T first. Well my unlocked Nexus One with T-Mobile 3G bands is now available to purchase. Perfect condition. Check the marketplace for full details or PM me if anyone is interested.

    you are right about that.

Tmobile customers who are looking to get in on the N1 action for cheap, be on the lookout for the flood of used N1s from people who where "happy" with edge only service on AT&T and were around wifi 99% percent of the time and did not mind not having 3g. yeah right!

What about all the AT&T kids who bought the T-Mobile Nexus One. I'd be more pissed about this release if I were one of them.

sigh. maybe I can eBay this one. Guess lesson learned is be less impulsive, but it would have been nice for Google to make these intentions clear at launch like they did with Voda/VZW.

To everyone complaining about it not being fair to those who bought the unlocked version, which I bought as well... you can't honestly complain since you knew this would eventually come. It's just part of the game we have to play.

Very true. Thats why I'm glad i played the "waiting" game...I'll now decide whether to switch to VZW or AT&T from here...carrier choices are good to have.

Do not make this into a bashing of carrier service. Go to the carrier forums if you want to discuss a topic completely relative to your location...

(any other talk about service in this thread will be deleted)

I'm really not intending to complain. More just disappointed.. just seems they could've done a "coming soon" for AT&T/Rogers bands like they did for the VZW/Voda versions. It's my fault for jumping early of course.

man o man. now what do I do? I think I will deal with Edge for another few weeks to see what lands on Verizon. My company is switching us to expensed phone accounts in 3 weeks. A lot can happen by then.

So in terms of use in foreign countries, which phone will have the greatest potential? One with ATT bands or one with T-Mobile bands?
