What retail stores and will they have it today?

Anyone know if Walmart, staples, etc will have it out for sale today? And i know about the one walmart that had it out early, that was an anomaly. I need to know because i rather have it today than wait a couple of days

Based on the report of "2,000" Wal-Mart stores having them and the price tag photo with item #, I went to Wal-Mart this morning. It comes up in their system, no one knows anything and quantity was zero at all my local stores.

9am Pacific, 10am Mountain, 11am Central and 12 Noon Eastern in the Google Play Store.

As far as Wal-Mart is concerned, who knows. It might not even be today.

Please update when you find out! I tried going to one of my Walmart's yesterday, but the guys in electronics didn't have any idea if they'd be getting it or not. Nothing in their system, either.

Even though this tablet is really good. This is one of the most underwhelming product launch for something really good that I have ever experienced in my whole life.
No preorders, no availability on release date and now Amazon is having lightning deals on new Kindle devices today. I just hope the Kindle Fire HD doesn't pop up.

FYI, try calling your local gamestop. Some of them have them, a guy here just left to pick one up.

I kept trying to call Walmart, but nobody ever would pick up. It would take me an hour to get there with no guarantee one would be available. I did manage to get one (32GB) ordered on the play store though. So I will just have to be a bit more patient.

Still trying to decide, N7, N10 GN 10.1 or wait for CES and see what comes out. The N10 looks sweet but I need to test drive one before I go for it and I don't like waiting 3-5+ days for delivery. Seriously Apple ships faster and more efficiently, Google needs to step up their ordering and shipping. Maybe work with Amazon.com since they know what they are doing.

Everyone either got it via the Play store (so waiting for delivery) or shops haven't got their stock yet. Two PC Worlds in Birmingham (including the big city centre one) have told me they should have them by Friday. Similar to how O2 has said they won't be displaying the Nexus 4 until Thurs in any of their shops.
Thinking similarly, Raptor. I was hoping some shops would have the Nexus to play around with on release day, but looks like I'll have to wait a little.

If there are shops which sell them right now, the people who have picked it up probably aren't members over here.

I called all the Walmarts here, Best Buy, Office Depot, Office Max, Target in my town and nobody has any idea when they will be getting any so I ordered online. Oh, Best Buy won't be getting them.
