So, chrome mobile sucks. I've been checking out sleipnir and so far, so good. What do y'all use?
Anything out there better?

I know it's been talked about in other forums (how to get flash support) but I never cared until now. I've tried Firefox but I can't get any flash to play it seems. Really just trying to watch the newest episodes of homeland on this thing and can't get it ha.
Edit: The sticky thread in the Nexus 7 forums about flash is simple and helpful.

I've been happy with Firefix but I'm going to give ocean a whirl. Chrome is great if you like to reboot 5 times a day.

Chrome without a doubt. Syncing bookmarks and open tabs between phone/tablet/laptop/work desktop is a must. As soon as another browser allows this I will take a look but until then it's Chrome for sure.
That is true
I use dolphin for browsing
But have chrome on everything for bookmarks etc

I've been using the stock android jellybean browser. It's quick and webpages seem to render better than what chrome was giving me. Plus it's smoother and just plain quicker than chrome too.
Firefox does have a bookmarks sync. I remember trying it a year or so ago and not being totally pleased with it and going back to xmarks. Unfortunately xmarks isn't free on a phone or tablet. I'm using chrome on the tablet and firefox on the desktop and not liking my bookmarks not being in sync so I've just installed firefox on my tablet and will give it a shot.Quote:

Chrome.
Once you get used to not using flash its not bad. If we could just get porn sites to stop supporting mobile flash I wouldn't be tempted to use it.... :)
Does it also sync open tabs?Quote:

I use chrome only.
In its options box there are checkboxes for Add-ons, Bookmarks, Passwords, Preferences, History, and Tabs.
I'm setting up firefox sync on my desktop and I think I see why I didn't like it; you have to manually sync your stuff back to the server. With xmarks it automatically syncs when you quit the browser, and you can manually sync whenever you want if you feel the need.Quote:

Sleipnir has the best tab management for a mobile browser. Plus it's really smooth. Don't know what phones you guys have, but chrome is super smooth and doesn't crash for me. Galaxy SII Skyrocket here
Firefox also can sync bookmarks and has been doing it longer than Chrome has existed.Quote:

Ics browser. But it drain my battery fast.
I use opera mobile a lot, it's battery friendly. :-)
Only open ics browser to do something that opera mobile can't do. :-P

I haven't found a reliable one yet....
If syncing is your game, all of the mobile browsers of any worth will sync everything.
So Chrome runs like crap on the Nexus 10 as well? I've not been pleased with Chrome on my Transformer Prime, and now on my Transformer Infinity. It tends to lag and stutter more often then work smoothly. When I say lag and stutter, I mean you click the "X" on a tab to close it and Chrome takes 5 seconds to do it, etc. I thought it was an Asus related problem with the Transformer series. Guess not?
Chrome runs very smooth on my Galaxy Nexus.
Read the forum subsection title maybe?Quote:
