volume slider from notification bar?
One of the biggest annoyances I've had with the N10 is that the power/volume buttons are very awkward to me. They're hard to find in the dark if I don't know exactly which way I'm holding the tablet. The volume buttons also seem to be upside down for how I prefer to hold the tablet. Sometimes I fat finger them and press the wrong buttons.
Basically I'd like to minimize pressing the buttons, and adjust volume quickly on the fly with some sort of volume slider that comes out of the notification bar. I've already found an app that sits in my notification bar that I can quickly press that turns off the screen, so I don't have to go looking for the power button, and I'm looking for something similar for volume controls. Yes I know I can go into the sound settings and adjust the sliders that way, I was just hoping there was a more accessible, streamlined solution.
Overall I am very happy with my N10, and the fact that this is one of my biggest annoyances with it, I can deal if there is no better alternative. - 01-15-2013, 10:43 AM #2
