This appears to be a common issue for other users of the Nexus 10, though I have not come across a clear troubleshooting procedure to fix the problem.

The problem: my Nexus 10 encounters an 'authentication problem' when trying to connect to my home WiFi network. The network signal appears very strong, and the correct password has been entered for WPA security. But 1-2 minutes are spent 'authenticating...' before failing to connect to the network. I have tinkered with some of the WiFi settings on tablet at the advice of several help threads: I have tried both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands; I have turned off network notification; I have turned off NFC. All to no avail.

It's confounding. I was traveling over the holidays while first using the Nexus 10 and had no problem connecting to the WiFi networks at my parents home, my in-laws home, numerous friends homes and in public. And our two laptops and two iPhones (I was beginning my switch) connect to my home network without issue.

Help is much appreciated, thanks.
