Has anybody noticed this problem?
As soon as I move into another room, I lose most WiFi bars and 2 rooms away, reception is sporadic.
I noticed posts that this could be a problem with some Nexus 7's.
Looking forward to your thoughts.....

Are you asking about Nexus 7's or Nexus 10's? I have no problems with Nexus 10 WiFi reception. And, in fact, it is much better than any model iPad's. Not quite as strong as my Lenovo Twist running Linux, however.Quote:

Nexus 10.
Glad yours is working fine.
I've read about problems with the 7.
I've moved my router around a bit, but no difference.
There have been some connectivity issues on the N10 for some people (not me), but have seen no complaints anywhere on the forums about range or performance.Quote:

Thanks for your thoughts CRXSSI.
You seem to know your stuff from other threads.
If you hear on how I can get better WiFi connectivity for my N10, please let me know
My Linksys router had poor WiFi on my laptop, so I bought a new N router to go with our new tablets. The N10 now works anywhere in our home. Mine is on 5ghz, my wife on 2.4, no conflicts.
Caveat - our house is only 1600 sq ft.
My nexus 7 is fine on wifi. Gets a better signal ( as in number of bars shown) that my TouchPad running CM9.
Alan
I wifi from my note 2 to my nexus 10. I seem to have connectivity issues occasionally but over all the connection seems fine.
I have been trying to follow The Following from Fox but rarely can I get through the episode without a connection issue. I
I side loaded Flash 11.3 and hence Abc.GO.com works fine. So I believe the issue is Fox and not Nexus.
