    Default The Nexus Has Landed!

I've had my Nexus 10 32gb for a few days and just have a few comments. This is 100 times better than the Kindle Fire that I've had for over a year. I'm giving it to my grand daughter. It's been a big advantage to have been using Google products including Chrome, Gmail, Google Voice, and Calendar. Sync is just the neatest thing! Very easy to setup my wife since she already had a Google account. I have a lot to Learn and it's going a little slow since I'm an old geezer.

I've been ordering cables and accessories. I'm really happy with my Manvex leather case for only $11. Today I received the OTG usb cable and an itty bitty 32gb sandisk flash drive. I also got a 15" mediabridge hdmi cable, but I forgot to order the adapter which will be here in a few days. I also ordered the pogo power cable to hopefully lengthen the usb port life. Don't know what other stuff I might need.

As to apps, I haven't gotten many except some that I used before such as weather, usa today, gmail. I don't know if I need an app to stream movies or tv shows. There's a tv show that can be watched from the cable companies website that I can watch on my pc. I'm thinking that if I can get it to the tablet, I can watch it on my regular 46" tv? I guess if I want to watch movies off line, I would have to put them on a flash drive and then download them to the Nexus? Then delete them after watching?

Thanks for any info or suggestions . This website and the nice folks here have already helped me a lot. THANKS!!

That is easy enough. I just bought a OTG adapter and a 32gb flash drive. Can I also put the movie on the flash drive and transfer/play it from there to the Nexus? I did get the Nexus Media and BS Player apps but haven't used them yet.
