Why has so much of my storage space been taken up after the Lollipop upgrade?

Missing Storage Space After Upgrading to Lollipop

I finally rooted and updated my Nexus 10 to Lollipop but after the update I have noticed that new OS say that I have 13.8 GB total capacity as opposed to the 32 GB before. Has anyone notice this and how do I fix the more than half missing space?

I think try restarting and see if that fixes it. I think I saw someone having the same issue in the nexus 7 forums. Hope this helps.

I rebooted the tablet several times and nothing. However I did reset to factory and it found all 27 GB of storage space now, after I downloaded all of my apps but nothing personal was done yet.
